THE SELLING PROCESS

STEP 1

Research and interview at least 3 real estate agents

It is recommended that you interview at least 3 real estate agents to ensure you are getting the best agent to sell your home. It is not always best to go with an agent who offers you the lowest commission as this may lead to less money and more stress in the long run.

STEP 2.

Sign the seller’s agreement

Once you have selected the real estate agent you want to work with, you will sign the seller’s agreement. Your agent will walk you through this document.

STEP 3.

Get your home ready

Your real estate agent will work with you and provide you with tips on how best to get your home ready to put on the market. This may also include having staging done and professional photography.

STEP 4.

List your home on MLS

Once your home is ready your real estate agent will put it on MLS (Multiple Listing Service). This will show prospective buyers and buyer’s agents that your home is on the market. Your real estate agent will also spend time and money marketing your home.

STEP 5.

Open houses and showings are done by your REALTOR®

Now that your home is officially on the market, potential homebuyers will want to come to view your home. This will be done through scheduled showings and open houses. It is important that you communicate to your real estate when the best times for these areas you will need to be out of the home. As well, you will need to keep your home clean and organized at all times to accommodate showings.

We are so confident that we will sell your home that we can guarantee it! That's what sets us apart from the competition.
